Trim back your entire herb plant and lay pieces out on cutting board.
Cut or pick off all leaves and keep them separated per herb type.
Depending on the herb, group together, and cut/chop into small pieces.
Disperse into ice cube tray. Amount would be based on how you plan to cook with it later.
Optional- add salt, pepper, various dry seasonings to fresh herbs.
Fill ice cube tray with enough olive oil to coat the herbs.
Freeze.
Remove from freezer and store in plastic baggies.
