Preheat oven to 350
In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, onion, and seasonings.
Next, fold in 1 cup of the cheddar to the seasoned cream cheese.
Transfer mixture to an oven safe dish, sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese. Bake for 20 minutes.
(Optional: Place all ingredients in a small slow cooker and cook on low stirring occasionally.)
Serve warm with your favorite crackers!
